A Late Post 09-14-16

I'm a few days late in posting this, but...I returned to the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center Sunday evening to see if I could take advantage of the golden hour light that's been missing in the morning.  There weren't many birds out and after a few hours I decided to give up.  I was secretly hoping to find something interesting on the way back.  I got lucky and found into a long-billed curlew searching for food in one of the canals that runs beside the trail.

I followed the long-billed curlew for a while and it eventually ended up in the perfect position in perfect golden hour light.
