Photography became a passion for me while I was in high school. After graduation, I decided to attend San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif., to pursue a career in news photography.
While attending San Jose State University, I trained at New York Newsday in New York, N.Y., The Tri-Valley Herald in Pleasanton, Calif. and the Gilroy Dispatch in Gilroy, Calif. After completing my degree in December 1993, I continued my training at the Los Angeles Times in Los Angeles, Calif., The Kansas City Star in Kansas City, Mo. and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in Fort Worth, Texas.
I currently reside near San Francisco, Calif., where I spend my spare time pursuing photographic opportunities.
It is my personal mission to share the images I make with others to educate and inspire them to make compelling pictures of their own.
